The festival has released its schedule today. This will be the film's world premiere. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the film will "receive a gala screening at Roy Thomson Hall, traditionally a fall launchpad for Oscar contenders". The festival itself is set to run September 9th-19th, 2010. The schedule will be released on August 24th and we will be sure to post here the times and dates of the viewing. No word yet as to who from the film will be in attendance. In the past James attended the festival for The Last King of Scotland, Penelope and Starter for Ten in 2006. The story will look at the younger lives of Charles Xavier (aka Professor X) and Eric Lensherr (aka Magneto). No word yet on the other actors in the film. Production will begin this summer in London and is set to hit the screens on June 3, 2011. We'll be sure to keep you posted as the story develops. James scores one of three nominations for the play, (the others are for Best Revival and Best Lighting Design). He is up against other fantastic actors such as James Earl Jones and Jude Law. The awards ceremony will take place on March 21st at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
